Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling salads, sandwiches, and side dishes according to menu specifications Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards Support the cooking process by monitoring food items during preparation and ensuring timely completion of dishes Maintain organized workstations, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stored and sanitized after use Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to plan menus and execute meal preparations efficiently Assist with catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food as needed Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Demonstrated food preparation, cooking, and food handling skills in a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety regulations Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques Experience with food service operations, including catering or serving is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations Join us as a Prep Cook and become an essential part of delivering delicious, safe, and beautifully prepared meals!
