Executive Vice President, Supply Chain & LogisticsThe role provides leadership across operational areas such as network development, food industry partnerships, distribution and programs teams. The EVP works closely with senior leaders to set vision, develop long-range strategic plans, and steer operations across a 29-county area in San Antonio. Success requires leading and developing teams, strengthening cross-functional partnerships, and exercising sound judgment around budgets and operational decisions.Essential FunctionsVision & LeadershipDevelops and executes long-range strategic plans that maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and align with organizational growth. Provides leadership across SAFB supply chain departments, ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution of goods.OperationsOversees operations across the San Antonio Food Bank's 29-county area. Maintains an on-site presence providing day-to-day oversight, real-time problem solving, and visible support to teams while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and goals. Coordinates and collaborates with other SAFB departments on acquisition and distribution of goods to ensure timely, fair, and equitable distribution. Develops and refines operational processes to support efficiency, consistency, and scalability.People & ComplianceLeads, mentors, and develops operational teams, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and efficiency. Ensures compliance with all requirements set forth by local, state, and national regulatory agencies, USDA, Feeding America, Department of Transportation, etc. Maintains a safe work environment, maintains equipment regularly and in accordance with regulations. Develops contingency plans for disruptions and disasters. Oversees operational programs for TDJC inmates and other training programs supported by the SAFB.QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in operations, service delivery, manufacturing, logistics, or related fields (senior-level leadership preferred).
