This position will ensure proper material coordination both on their department floor and in SAP.Essential Job DutiesSupport assigned department in the execution of the daily scheduleRelease work to department as scheduled by the scheduling teamSet and clearly communicate daily work center and team priorities to operationsMonitors daily performance against the weekly/daily schedule and works with operations to drive schedule attainmentCollaborate daily with operations leadership to optimize labor and machine capacitySupports operations team as an expert on inventory transactionsCommunicate and coordinate necessary actions for expedites and component shortagesSupport development and adherence to standard work for assigned responsibilitiesConvert and release orders on non-Master scheduled work centers which are triggered by system generated demand as Planners level load upper-level assembliesMonitor and investigate material POV before TECO and closing ordersOther duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsInterpersonal Skills that support a team/collaborative environmentEffective Communication Skills when dealing with team members on the shop floor, planning team, Supply management team, and potentially manufacturing engineering.Computer application / program skillsMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) -experience in Excel Macro writing/editing preferredSAP - experience in PP, SD, MM, IM, and/or WMProject Management SkillsTime Management Skills Analytical SkillsAbility to be decisive and quickly adjust to changing priorities.Strategic/critical thinking in material flow and executionHourly compensation for this role is $20.00 per hour.
