Requirements
Must have
Over 3 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or systems engineering
Demonstrated ownership of automation solutions from design through deployment and operation
Experience in complex enterprise IT settings
Proficiency in PowerShell (production-level scripting)
Knowledge of Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, Group Policy, Firewall)
Experience with SQL Server automation (instances, jobs, restores, scripting)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
Understanding of Git workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)
Experience with secrets management (vaults, encrypted credential storage)
Scripting skills in Python or Bash
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
Responsibilities
Design and develop automation workflows for infrastructure provisioning and configuration across varied environments
Create reusable PowerShell scripts and libraries to enhance IT operations
Enhance provisioning processes for Windows infrastructure (AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, IIS, SQL Server)
Build and oversee CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
Implement and uphold Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices
Incorporate security measures and secrets management into automation workflows
Develop validation and testing frameworks to guarantee system integrity
Set up monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
Lead incident response efforts and conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, networking, and application departments
Identify operational challenges and convert them into scalable automation solutions
Maintain comprehensive documentation such as runbooks, architectural decisions, and onboarding guides
Propel continuous advancement in automation maturity throughout the organization
