Job Description Alaska Surgical Group (ASG) is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant who is highly motivated and is ready to work in positive team environment!Alaska Surgical Group has three dedicated specialty centers at this location: Alaska Surgical Oncology, Alaska Breast Center and Alaska Hernia Center. Our clinic specializes in the assessment and surgical removal of cancerous and non-cancerous growths, treatment of breast cancer, as well as all types of general surgery. With patient care as our top priority, we provide the most advanced surgical options with minimal invasive techniques.We are seeking a candidate who applies critical thinking to daily activities and has strong organizational and communication skills.Responsibilities include, assisting providers with patient care and education, update clinical notes in electronic medical systems, chart preparation and breakdown, triage phone calls and other routine clinical activities.Our office is located within Providence Hospital with anticipated work hours Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm.Min 1 year experience preferred with CMA diploma/​certification.We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits!
