Evening Manager

The Courtyard Marriott in Southfield, MI, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Evening Manager to join our team. As an Evening Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing evening operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and supporting staff across all departments. The ideal candidate will have prior hotel management experience, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to teamwork and service excellence. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage evening operations, ensuring all departments work together seamlessly to provide guests with an outstanding experience. Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction by proactively assisting with guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds brand standards. Promote and foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging communication and cooperation among staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Support and assist in various departments as needed, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage, to address high-demand periods or staffing gaps. Train, mentor, and motivate team members to perform at their best, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles. Monitor and manage guest feedback, taking action to address concerns and enhance guest satisfaction. Ensure all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations are adhered to during evening operations. Prepare and submit shift reports, detailing operational successes, challenges, and any incidents that occurred during the shift. Qualifications: Proven experience in hotel management, with a focus on guest service and team leadership. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both guests and team members. A hands-on approach with a willingness to assist in various departments to ensure smooth operations. Ability to lead by example, promoting a positive and service-oriented culture within the team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
