High-Performance Engine Builder

*Job Summary:* We are looking for an experienced Engine Builder to assemble and build high-performance and custom engines. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical knowledge, experience building performance engines, and the ability to perform precise measurements and inspections. *Responsibilities for Engine Builder:* * Build and assemble high-performance and custom engines * Assemble engine blocks, cylinder heads, valvetrain, timing components, and other parts * Measure and check engine components, clearances, and tolerances * Use micrometers, calipers, dial bore gauges, and other measuring tools * Check piston-to-wall clearance, bearing clearances, ring gaps, and deck height * Inspect parts for wear, damage, and other issues before assembly * Follow build sheets, specifications, and work instructions * Keep accurate records of completed work * Work with machine shop and service team as needed * Keep the work area clean and organized * Complete quality work while meeting production goals *Requirements Engine Builder:* * Previous professional engine-building experience required * Strong knowledge of internal combustion and performance engines * Experience with high-performance V8 engines preferred * Ability to use precision measuring tools * Understanding of engine clearances and tolerances * Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills * Detail-oriented and dependable * Able to work independently and with a team * Must have professional hand tools * Racing, off-road, marine, or hot rod experience is a plus Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Vision insurance Experience: * Engine Building : 2 years (Required) * Hand Tool : 2 years (Required) * Measuring Tools: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
