Facility Team Lead

FACILITY TEAM LEADJOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Salaried Non-Exempt JOB OVERVIEW: MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells them individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Team Lead is a boots-on-the-ground supervisor who oversees the department and works alongside the team. Personnel under his/her guidance include drivers, maintenance, receiving, and general workers who help keep the flow of operations running smoothly. This position reports to the General Manager (GM). MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the rapid unloading of trucks upon delivery to avoid fees, by receiving personnelOversee the inventory and sorting of palletsOversee the daily collection of cardboard for balingOversee hourly trash collection of the scan team and daily collection of the rest of the warehouse, including officesEnsure that the dumpster lid can close, and no garbage is placed on or around the dumpsterTake pallet jack and propane inventory dailyPerform weekly audit of general warehouse cleanlinessPerform daily audit of general parking lot cleanlinessCoordinate and communicate effectively with the supervisory teamPerform other tasks as requiredQUALIFICATIONS: Availability to work on-site.
