Press Brake Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Brake Roll Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and tearing down press brakes to perform forming operations on various materials. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading and the use of inspection tools to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate various press brakes and forming rolls.
Read blueprints and routings to produce high-quality parts.
Perform first-piece and subsequent inspections to ensure part quality.
Conduct routine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols related to machine operation.
Qualifications
Previous experience with brake presses required.
Ability to use machinist tools (squares, calipers, protractors, etc.) to inspect parts.
Proficient in reading blueprints and production routings.
Physical ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, lifting (up to 30 lbs).
Must possess essential tools, including an Allen wrench set, machinist square, tape measure, calipers, center punch, scriber, ball peen hammer, protractor, large screwdriver, and a tool box.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
