We value collaboration, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in everything we do.Position SummaryGranville Homes is seeking a motivated Land Development / Entitlement Coordinator to support the planning and development of residential communities. This role is ideal for an entry- to mid-level planning professional who is looking to transition into the private development sector.The position will assist in managing entitlement processes, coordinating with internal teams and public agencies, and supporting project timelines from acquisition through approval.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in processing entitlements for residential development projects, including tentative maps, site plans, and related applicationsCoordinate submittals with local jurisdictions, including the cities, counties and other municipalities, and track project status and timelinesSupport communication with city staff, consultants, engineers, and internal departmentsReview zoning codes, general plan policies, and development standards to support project planningPrepare and organize project applications, exhibits, and supporting documentationAssist with due diligence efforts for land acquisitions, including research on zoning, land use, and entitlement requirementsTrack conditions of approval and help ensure compliance throughout the development processParticipate in internal project meetings and provide updates on entitlement progressQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, City & Regional Planning, Public Administration, or a related field1–5 years of experience in municipal planning, land development, or a related fieldBasic understanding of California planning processes, zoning, and land use regulationsFamiliarity with CEQA and subdivision mapping is a plus, but not requiredStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projectsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail with a sense of urgencyProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with GIS or planning software is a plusPreferred QualificationsExperience working with or for local municipalities or similar Central Valley jurisdictionsExposure to residential development projectsInterest in transitioning from public sector planning to private developmentWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits packageMentorship and growth opportunities within land development and homebuildingExposure to the full lifecycle of residential development projectsCollaborative and team-oriented work environment
