This is the payments platform that will host all payment functions within FIS including the migration of existing and new customers. You'll work with other Quality Assurance Analysts, Developers and Production Support.About the role:As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll test and perfect the payment fintech products that will change the way people around the world pay, bank and invest. This critical role involves establishing and executing compliance processes with your team and implementing a quality maturity roadmap for each IT functional area. This opportunity is key to ensuring client activities, product development, and corporate functions are managed effectively.What you will be doing:Automated testing to support platform, CICD, and ongoing testing needs for our Payments platformsTesting real-time payment flows end to end (RTP, FedNow, ACH, wires)Verifying API behaviorValidating transaction monitoring and ensuring compliance, security, and reliabilityReviewing progress with IT leadership, technical teams and internal customersMonitoring, evaluating, managing and executing testing processesProviding subject matter expertise to IT teams on quality assurance methodologiesMaking recommendations for improvements to the software development and testing processSupport occasional on-call responsibilities and weekend activitiesWhat you bring:Advanced knowledge of API testingExperience with automation and automating test casesFinancial services experience, ideally in paymentsAWS backgroundExperience with Jmeter, Zephyr, Insomnia, Jira, and CucumberJava experienceIn-depth knowledge of one or more end-to-end systems lifecycle development methodologies as well as quality management and improvement2+ years of experience as a QA Tester or similar roleExperience with test management tools to organize and track testing effortsFamiliarity with DevOps methodologiesWhat we offer you:At FIS, we hire the best.
