Locums - Family Practice Job

Seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine physician to help provide coverage. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled for orientation. Need as soon as credentialed. Orientation is paid.Coverage Needed:Beginning August 26; Ongoing during perm recruitmentTuesday-Friday 8am-6pmSchedule - 8:00 am 9:30 am inpatient check in, discharges, rounds; 9:30 am to lunch time in outpatient clinic; lunchtime check on floor, admission if needed; 1 pm to 5 pm outpatient clinic; 5-6 pm check on inpatients and finish any admissionsDetails: Inpatient and Outpatient Practice located inside Hospital Ideal candidate will be able to cover 6-bed inpatient unit Tuesday-Friday, 8am-5p 12 exam rooms, procedure room, limited on-site pharmacy, Spirometer, holter monitor, EKG machine and nebulizer machine Experienced clinical support staff includes 2 RNs, 2 LPNs and part-time patient education RNBLS certification required No call No nights, no weekends Average # of patients/day/provider: 25 clinic patients per day Required Procedures: EKGs, PFTs, blood draws, urine check, joint injections, pap smears, mole/wart removal, drug screening, ear irrigation, sutures.Clean NC license1 year or more of recent experience.
