This is a key leadership role responsible for managing workflows, supervising support staff, and driving operational excellence within a high-performing IP team.The RoleThis position will lead and support trademark operations by:Overseeing trademark paralegals and support staff, including workflow management, performance oversight, and professional developmentManaging productivity metrics, billable targets, and workload distributionSupervising key administrative functions, including trademark transfers and practice support workflowsPartnering closely with attorneys and leadership to ensure efficient execution of trademark mattersIdentifying process improvements and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, consistency, and service qualityMaintaining and improving procedural documentation and workflow systemsLeadership & ImpactServe as a key liaison between attorneys, paralegals, and leadershipProvide insights on staffing, capacity planning, and operational strategyLead training, onboarding, and ongoing development of team membersDrive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementQualifications5+ years of trademark prosecution operations experience, including 2+ years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of U.S. and international trademark prosecution and docketing systemsProven experience managing teams and improving operational workflowsExcellent organizational, communication, and leadership skillsBachelor's degree requiredExperience with trademark management systems preferred
