This full-time, 10-month position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a supportive and mission-driven educational environment.Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with PA Early Learning and Pre-K Counts StandardsCreate a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports each child's growthMonitor and assess student progress regularly using approved assessment tools, maintaining required documentationMaintain accurate records including portfolios, attendance, and screeningsSupport children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive developmentBuild positive relationships with families and communicate child progressCollaborate with directors and support staff to ensure inclusive and equitable learning for all studentsMaintain licensing, health, and safety regulations at all times - Appropriate child supervision is essentialQualifications (PA State Requirements): Applicants must meet one of the following to be considered:A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, andPennsylvania Instructional Certification in Early Childhood (PreK–4)ORA Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 18 ECE credits and a Pennsylvania teaching certification in a related area (e.g., PK–4, N–3, or Special Education)ORA Bachelor's Degree in any field with a PA ECE Certification and experience working with preschool-aged childrenIdeal Candidate: Passionate about working with young children in a high-quality early childhood settingStrong understanding of child development, classroom management, and instructional best practicesCommitted to equity, inclusion, and cultural responsivenessSkilled in working with diverse populations and able to build positive relationships with children and familiesOrganized, reliable, and a collaborative team playerBenefits:Medical/Dental401KPTO TimeChildcare discountProfessional DevelopmentFollow DOE CalendarTo Apply:Please submit your resume, PA teaching certification, and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role to melissa.fornwalt@inspirededucation.net.
