Boone has also achieved its Magnet designation for the fifth time in a row, indicating the high standard of excellence that Boone Hospital nurses achieve every day for patients. The employees of Boone Hospital are dedicated to serving the mid-Missouri region with the highest standards in patient care.Practice Highlights:Work closely with general cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, hospitalists, and advanced practice providers.Hospital-based electrophysiology laboratory and cardiovascular inpatient units.Outpatient clinic and device clinic settings.Participation in shared call rotationSupport transitions of care and coordinated outpatient follow-up.Responsibilities: Clinical CareProvide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, syncope, inherited arrhythmia syndromes, and conduction system disease.Interpret ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, and device diagnostics.Manage antiarrhythmic pharmacotherapy and anticoagulation in accordance with contemporary guidelines.Provide inpatient consultative services and participate in call coverage for arrhythmia-related emergencies.Procedural ResponsibilitiesPerform invasive electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation procedures (e.g., atrial fibrillation, SVT, VT, PVC ablation).Implant, revise, and manage pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and implantable loop recorders.Perform cardioversion and oversee device interrogations and programming.Participate in remote device monitoring and device clinic oversight.Recognize and manage procedural complications.About Columbia, MO: our community offers a compelling blend of professional opportunities and quality of life that makes it an ideal place for physicians seeking to relocate.
