Full Stack Engineer

Hybrid Employment : 3 days on site (Monday – Wednesday)Employment Type : Long Term Contract + Potential for ConversionPROJECT OVERVIEW This project supports the firm's Fixed Income Sales organization, which currently relies on a highly manual, Excel‐based workflow to capture, update, and analyze deal and market data. These manual processes consume significant time, introduce data‐quality risks, and limit opportunities to leverage intelligent automation or AI‐driven insights. The initiative aims to modernize this workflow by building a scalable full stack application featuring an intuitive React (TypeScript) user experience, automated data ingestion, and seamless integration with Databricks and internal data platforms. The platform will also incorporate LLM‐powered capabilities to streamline data entry, surface insights, and enable multi‐agent workflows—ultimately improving productivity and supporting faster, smarter decision‐making across the sales process.Engineers on the team will collaborate to implement high‐quality features, contribute to system design discussions, and ensure the platform is reliable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute to the development of the end‐to‐end platform by implementing high‐quality features, following established architectural guidelines, and collaborating with teammates to ensure reliable delivery.Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices across front‐end, back‐end, and cloud disciplines.Work with product owners and senior engineers to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and deliver solutions aligned with project goals and milestones.Develop production‐grade React (TypeScript) front‐end applications that support AI‐enabled workflows, financial insights, and data automation for the Fixed Income Sales team.Build backend microservices using Node.js and Python (FastAPI) to support data ingestion, transformation, retrieval, and integration with Databricks and other internal systems.Implement secure, well‐versioned REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger documentation and scalable service patterns.Integrate front‐end and back‐end components with API gateways, authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, MSAL, Entra ID), and other platform services.Build real‐time user experiences using WebSockets or SignalR for streaming, live financial data, and collaborative features.Incorporate LLM‐based application capabilities, including streaming responses, structured outputs, document ingestion pipelines, and multi‐agent workflows.Deploy and operate services in containerized or cloud‐native environments using CI/CD automation tools and practices.Implement observability features such as logging, tracing, and alerting across services to support performance and reliability.Collaborate with platform and security teams to ensure proper IAM, secrets management, and secure deployment configurations following least‐privilege principles.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of full stack engineering experience, with deep expertise in React (TypeScript) and backend development in Python or Node.js.Hands‐on experience building production features using Azure AI Foundry or GCP Vertex AI, including model orchestration and LLM‐driven workflows.Proficiency designing and documenting REST APIs, including OpenAPI specifications and versioning strategies.Experience deploying and operating applications on Azure (App Service, API Management, Entra ID, Cosmos DB, ADLS).Skilled with Docker, containerization, and cloud‐native workloads (Azure Container Apps, Kubernetes, etc.).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‐as‐code using Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi.Experience integrating OAuth 2.0/OIDC authentication into web applications.NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS Broader GCP experience: Cloud Run, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and GCP IAM.Additional LLM integration expertise: structured outputs, function calling, tool use, and streaming pipelines.Experience with real‐time communication technologies like WebSockets, Server‐Sent Events, or Azure SignalR.Familiarity with Databricks or enterprise data platform APIs.Experience in financial services, investment banking, or capital markets environments.Azure Developer Associate (AZ‐204) or equivalent GCP certifications.Experience integrating with third‐party systems such as DealCloud, S&P Capital IQ, Box, or Microsoft Graph API.Background building internal design systems or shared UI component libraries.Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
