Emulate3D Simulation Engineer

Job DescriptionAn experienced Emulate3D Simulation Engineer to support short-term, remote project work focused on validating PLC programs for automated conveyance systems. This role will leverage Emulate3D's modeling tools and existing component libraries to build simulation environments, test control logic, and ensure system functionality prior to deployment.Required:Hands-on experience with Emulate3DProven experience building simulation models using existing libraries/blocks (not full custom development)Strong understanding of PLC programming and logic validationExperience working with conveyance, material handling, or automated systemsAbility to work independently in a remote, short-term contract environmentMust have access to your own licensed version of Emulate3DPreferred:Experience with PLC platforms such as Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA PortalBackground in virtual commissioning or digital twin environmentsPrior experience supporting warehouse automation, distribution centers, or manufacturing systemsJob Responsibilities:Develop and configure 3D simulation models using Emulate3D with existing/pre-built blocks and componentsIntegrate simulation models with PLC programs to validate control logic and system behaviorPerform virtual commissioning and troubleshooting of conveyance and material handling systemsIdentify, diagnose, and resolve issues within PLC logic through simulation testingCollaborate with controls engineers and project teams to ensure alignment between simulation and real-world system designProvide feedback and recommendations to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiencyDocument simulation results, test scenarios, and identified issuesPay Range: $60/hr.+.Meet Your Recruiter
