System Developer

We are seeking an experienced IBM i (AS/400) COBOL Developer/Support Engineer to support and maintain a mature IBM i environment and COBOL-based business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience maintaining legacy systems with minimal documentation, and the ability to resolve complex production issues independently. Responsibilities include application support, batch job management, SQL, file transfers, system monitoring, and performance optimization. Experience with IBM i (AS/400), COBOL, DB2/SQL, CL, PC5250, BRMS, and supporting migration initiatives (preferably to Hyland OnBase WorkView) is highly preferred.Required Skills:IBM i (AS/400) administration and supportCOBOL programming and application maintenanceDB2/SQL and CL programmingBatch job scheduling, file transfers, and system monitoringStrong production support and troubleshooting experienceKnowledge of PC5250, BRMS, spool files, and job queuesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills
