We are currently seeking a QI Reviewer to join our Quality Improvement Department. As a QI Reviewer, youll be responsible for chart reviews/audit completion across all programs at CareStar using a standardized, program-specific set of interpretive guidelines to ensure inter-rater reliability./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3p Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities./pp Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures./pp Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense./pp Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc./pp Completes an average of 30-40 audits per week using program-specific reviewer guidelines to ensure inter-rater reliability./pp Reports findings promptly to the appropriate Supervisor./pp Coordinates and communicates with the Clinical Teams in all programs./pp Participates in Root Cause Analysis and brings forward to the QI Supervisor any trends/patterns which have been identified during the chart review/audit process./pp Participates in QI projects and Improvement initiatives, as needed./pp Is available to serve on work groups, community groups, committees, or other task forces and attends meetings as requested./pp Performs other projects and duties as assigned./ph3Minimum Qualifications/h3p Minimum of 3 years in clinical, operations or quality improvement required./pp Minimum of 3 years in healthcare delivery required./pp Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Social Services or related field./pp Certification/licensure in a health-related field (e.g., LPN, RN, or LSW) preferred.
