Referment is working with a sophisticated, fast-paced organisation to appoint a Learning and Development Program Operations Manager. This role sits within the Learning & Development team and combines people leadership with hands-on operational improvement.You will develop a team of L&D coordinators while improving how learning programmes are delivered across the organisation. A central part of the mandate is partnering with colleagues focused on generative-AI learning, translating new ideas into well-run initiatives and helping the wider team adopt AI tools in practical, useful ways.The opportunity would suit an execution-minded leader who enjoys making complex work easier to run. You will have room to strengthen processes, develop people and coordinate initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, while remaining close to delivery.The RoleLead and develop L&D coordinators, setting clear priorities, delegating effectively, giving constructive feedback and supporting their professional growth.Partner with the generative-AI learning team to deliver initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring stakeholders have the resources they need and sessions run smoothly.Identify manual and time-intensive L&D processes, then redesign them to be more efficient, scalable, automated and appropriately supported by AI.Encourage practical adoption of generative-AI tools within team workflows, helping colleagues use them confidently and effectively.Keep complex, multi-stakeholder programmes on track by anticipating risks and dependencies, resolving delivery issues and communicating clearly with senior stakeholders.What We're Looking ForA bachelor's degree and at least seven years of experience in programme or project management, operations, or a related field.A strong record of improving processes in complex, fast-moving environments, with the judgement to balance immediate delivery and longer-term operational design.Experience managing and developing people, alongside excellent organisation, project management and delegation skills.A practical understanding of generative-AI concepts and tools, genuine interest in developments in the field, and experience helping others adopt AI effectively.Clear written and verbal communication, confidence working with senior stakeholders and the ability to collaborate with a low-ego, adaptable approach.Comfort operating through ambiguity while maintaining momentum, clarity and attention to detail.Direct L&D experience would be useful but is not essential. Strong candidates may come from programme management, operational excellence, people operations or other environments where they have led teams, improved workflows and delivered complex initiatives.This could suit an experienced programme or operations manager who wants to combine team development with process transformation and practical AI adoption.#Referment
