Employing state-of-the-art robotics, precision welding equipment, and automated machining processes, Dexter has achieved many years of success through a commitment to the principles of superior quality, continuous improvement, and unparalleled customer service.For more information about our company, access Dexter's web site at www.dextergroup.com.Job DescriptionJob Details:Class A or Class C license required, Class A preferred.Equipment: Automatic Straight Truck or Day Cab pulling 48 or 53 ft flatbedLocal deliveries, home nights and weekends.Deliver trailer and trailer products while operating a tractor-trailer truck, spanning several states to internal branches timely.Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.Follow all applicable traffic laws.Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.Keep a log of activities.Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.Take rest periods during trip, take special precautions while driving.QualificationsMust be 21+ years of ageValid Class A CDL Required.1 year experience, including manual.Proven working experience as a commercial truck driver.Clean driving record - No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
