Receiving Technician/Forklift - 2nd Shift (5851)

Receiving TechnicianThis is a second shift position. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm. If you're looking for a fast-paced position with an established company, we want to hear from you!Specific duties include:Unloading and loading trucks using forklifts and other powered equipmentMaking transactions using an Inventory Management System (JDE)Checking incoming materials against packing slipInspecting and labeling incoming material and moving it to proper locationPrioritizing the processing of materialsCycle CountingReceiving and determining the disposition of returned goodsOrganizing and disposing of damaged goods including proper JDE transactionsPicking, labeling, and returning products to shipping dock as requiredAny other tasks deemed necessary during the course of the dayQualifications include:Previous forklift experience is requiredExcellent organization skillsSuperior attention to detailExperience working with distribution software is a plusPrevious warehouse and forklift experience is preferredMust be able to lift up to 75 lbsStandup/reach truck experience is preferredPhysical Demand:Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full 8-hour day.Work Environment:100% manufacturing settingAssociate must comply with assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirement in varies areas, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.Associate will have exposure to typical working conditions within the manufacturing environment, including but not limited to, seasonal temperature changes, occasional exposure to exhaust fumes, dirt, dust, debris, and grease, moving forklift equipment, and pinch points on machinery.Benefits may include:Health, dental, and vision coverage - eligible after 60 days, low out of pocket401(k) with generous company match - eligible after 60 days, immediately vestedEmployer paid employee assistance programEmployer paid short term and long term disabilityEmployer paid life insuranceFlex spendingPaid vacationPaid sick daysPaid holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer / Drug Free WorkplaceABC Supply values diversity and we actively encourage women, minorities, and veterans to apply.
