Temporary Math Tutor (25-26)

General Statement of Duties Temporary position. Cannot exceed 29 hours per week. Tutor will work with small groups of students on targeted remediation.Essential DutiesUse and evaluate instructional materials and resources, including technology, that support the curriculum of math.Plan instructional activities for studentsAssess and maintain records of students' progressUtilize a variety of instructional strategies in order to promote student successProvide individual and small group remediationEncourage students by giving positive feedback and supportUse instructional resources that are researched based and identified as best practicesUse a comprehensive collection of quick-check formative assessments that can be used to identify areas of needModel and demonstrate that reading and writing are pleasurable and valuable activitiesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree is required.Additional Information$32.99 per hour.
