Security Account Manager ~ Remote ~ Travel
Security Account ManagerSeeking a Security Account Manager to meet and exceed sales quota in an assigned territory through direct sales to Tier 1 telecommunication service provider customers. This role controls the accounts directly even if the business is booked through channels. Responsibilities include adhering to company policies and ethical guidelines, following a selling process, responsible for booking business per the company bookings policies and revenue recognition policy, understanding the customer's business and how our products impact their business, developing strong relationships and coaching in the accounts, developing a pipeline of 4X quota and constantly prospecting in new or existing accounts, consistently calling at multiple levels high and wide, and working collaboratively with Sales Engineers to ensure ongoing account technical support.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degreeExperience8+ years sales experience in Network Security, NDR, DDOS, CybersecurityRecent experience selling into Large Tier 1 US Service ProvidersRecent relationships with Chief Information Security Officer / Security office at Tier 1 US Service ProvidersExperience selling security solutions to technical and economic buyersA quantifiable track record of success demonstrated by territory/professional growthA solid, articulate understanding of our technology, market, and client profileTrack record of exceptional and consistent quota achievementProven success, established customers and contacts, and solid territory knowledgeYou will need the skill to independently work with large, complex accountsAbility to source, pursue and close new businessAble to travel 60% to New York, New Jersey and Florida
