Advanced Program Performance Management Specialist
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Advanced Program Performance Management (PPM / EVM) Analyst. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services on the Strategic Systems program. Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) principles and tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint
Experience in program cost and/or schedule management and analysis
Familiarity with program contracts across planning, development, and/or production phases
Domain knowledge in engineering disciplines or defense program environments
What You'll Experience
Developing and maintaining time-phased cost and schedule baselines within contract parameters
Analyzing program performance (historical and predictive) and monitoring Estimates at Complete (EAC) and schedule completion dates
Supporting program reviews, customer-required documents, and EVM reporting including IMS, CAM notebooks, and PPM Dashboards
Identifying and analyzing critical paths and driving paths to key schedule milestones
Coordinating EAC, risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance as input into business financial commitments
What You Bring to the Table
Solid knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and scheduling tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience interfacing with Program Management, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
What Sets You Apart
Domain knowledge and hands-on experience with defense program contracts across planning, development, and production phases
Experience with proposal development activities, including preparation, fact finding, and negotiations
Contact with external customers and vendors in a program management context
Ability to act as a delegate to present program performance data in the absence of program management
Experience supporting cross-functional IPT leads and Control Account Managers (CAMs) within a structured EVMS environment

Salary Note: This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
