That’s why we foster a collaborative, ethical, and resident-focused culture where every team member plays a vital role in our continued success.Position SummaryThe Lifestyle Coordinator will create and coordinate social, emotional, mental, and physical activity programs, as well as other resident-related functions, to achieve community goals related to resident retention. This role is integral to the sales process by working closely with the Community Manager and Sales Consultant/s to drive traffic to the community. This role does whatever is necessary to make the selling process more effective and the move-in process more efficient. This position will contribute to the community sales team’s success in achieving year-end budgeted occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals.Key ResponsibilitiesResident Activities & Event CoordinationCreate and coordinate programs and events related to social and physical activities, including resident functions, birthday cards, welcome parties, off-site excursions, and other eventsResponsible for the set-up, preparation, and take-down for each event. At least 2 to 5 activities or events per day, 7 days a week, are required. (Many of these may be led by residents.)Create and produce the monthly calendar with activities and events, newsletters, and fliers for the community as neededPhotograph residents and events whenever possible for use in cards, social media, newsletters, videos, and other media sourcesOversees the purchasing and coordination of any items required for the eventResident Relations & Community EngagementMeet with each new resident to create a profile of preferred activities and eventsInteract with all residents and, if possible, acknowledge them by nameProvide assistance as necessary with the ongoing Resident Surveys and Activity QuestionnairesMaintain confidentiality of pertinent information concerning residents and staffCoordinate the resident volunteer program by enlisting volunteers and managing the volunteer schedule to ensure consistent, equal participation from all who wish to participateRecruit and train volunteers from within the community to participate in events, activities, and clubsSales, Marketing & OutreachGreet all prospects warmly and professionally, qualify needs, and guide them through tours of available apartmentsMaintain prospect attendance records for each event when possible, collecting prospect contact information for future use and follow-upShould be knowledgeable of the community and other policies to assist with community tours if neededCreate partnerships with local vendors, businesses, and organizations to enhance community events, including parties, door prizes, opportunity drawings, and sponsorship opportunitiesVendor & Transportation CoordinationSchedule and manage transportation program, if providedMay be instrumental in interviewing and recommending local, licensed transportation companies to transport residents to off-site destinations and excursionsMay coordinate the interview process and make recommendations for hiring qualified and certified instructors for on-site exercise and spa activitiesAssist and train on-site staff to host successful resident activities and, when possible, participate in the eventsBudgeting & Administrative SupportProvide input into the development of budget(s) for properties within the property portfolio as it relates to planned activities, resident retention, and excursionsManage expenses within approved budget guidelinesQualificationsStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsPrevious experience in activities coordination, hospitality, senior living, customer service, or community engagement preferredKnowledge of Fair Housing regulations, ADA, and leasing compliance (or must complete training within 90 days)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (e.g., Yardi or OneSite) preferredPositive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to excellent customer serviceCreative, energetic, and resident-focused mindsetAbility to work weekends and occasional holidays as neededResident Activities & Community EngagementPlan and implement resident activities and events based on residents' interests and needsDevelop innovative programs that encourage resident participation, wellness, entertainment, and social connectionCoordinate holiday celebrations, themed events, educational workshops, fitness classes, and social gatheringsEstablish and coordinate the Community Resident Council and attend all meetingsFoster a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment throughout the communityPromote resident participation in activities, events, and community programsWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time, on-site position at the assigned apartment community.
