Open to part time or full time, flexible scheduling and locations depending on candidate needs. Focus will be on head trauma and brain damage from workplace injuries. Job Description: Compensation : $250000 - $300000 Job ID : 35578 Job Function: No on-call responsibilities, standard business hours and flexible scheduling 10am-6pm but open to 2-5 days per week Neurologist will cover multiple clinical locations on an outpatient-only basis. Patients who come through the disability, workers compensation program must undergo primary care, general health assessments, often neurological and sometimes a mental health assessment. Patients have injuries either short-term or chronic conditions. Determine patients ability to work, mental health status and mental well-being - patients may be suffering from depression, anxiety. Ability to conduct EMGs required, EEGs a plus but not required Diagnose medical conditions, manage chronic health issues, refer out most Medicaid long-term care.
