Construction Foreman / Crew Lead
Sevan is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead self-perform crews and subcontractors on residential military housing projects. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for supervising crews, driving daily jobsite production, and ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to high-quality construction standards.Candidates should have strong experience in carpentry, framing, demolition, or residential construction, with proven ability to lead field crews and manage active jobsite operations.What You'll DoLead and supervise self-perform crews (carpentry, framing, concrete, demolition, finishes)Manage daily field operations and ensure production schedules are metRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documentsPerform layout, measurements, and field verificationCoordinate materials, tools, and equipment on-siteIdentify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delaysEnsure work meets quality standards and contract requirementsConduct daily inspections and support QA/QC processesEnforce OSHA safety standards and lead daily safety meetings (JHAs)Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsite conditionsCoordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractorsTrack daily labor, production, and material usageComplete daily reports, timesheets, and jobsite documentationQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.5–10 years of hands-on construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.Proven ability to lead crews on self-perform construction workBackground in framing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall.Strong knowledge of construction techniques, safety practices, and blueprint reading.Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.OSHA 30, or ability to acquire, is required.First Aid/CPR, or ability to acquire, is requiredBilingual English/Spanish a plusPay & Benefits$60,000 - $70,000 annually based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experienceMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurancesFlexible paid time off, paid holidays, sick time401(k) with company matchWork Conditions & TravelThis is a fully on-site role at the project location(s). Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine. Involves movement between floors, and properties to facilitate work.
