Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer – Contract-to-Hire Location: Greenville, SC Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Greenville, South Carolina. This role is ideal for a senior-level civil engineering professional with strong site development expertise, advanced Civil 3D capabilities, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary site civil efforts in a fast-paced project environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support site development, site master planning, and site selection activities Perform underground utility routing and site space planning Conduct hydrology analysis and design storm drainage systems Analyze and design gravity wastewater collection systems Develop final grading plans including cut/fill analysis and earthwork balancing Prepare erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) Support permitting efforts and coordinate with local agencies and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) Perform stormwater analysis and modeling using software such as StormCAD and CivilStorm Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project execution Lead site civil engineering tasks while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline 15+ years of civil engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) license required Advanced proficiency with Civil 3D required Strong experience with site development and utility design Experience leading site civil teams on complex engineering projects Data Center project experience preferred, but not required Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with aggressive project schedules Preferred Skills Experience coordinating with permitting agencies and AHJs Knowledge of stormwater management and hydrologic modeling software Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and utility coordination Ability to work independently while supporting distributed project teams Aspen Technical StaffingCELEBRATING 25 YEARS          ~2001-2026~We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
