General Purpose: The Scheduling Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient workflow, on-time delivery, and maximum resource utilization in a fast-paced cosmetic and customer care manufacturing environment. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Batch Master ERP and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials planning, and capacity management. Position Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to align with sales forecasts, customer demands, and manufacturing capacity. Utilize SAP Batch Master ERP to manage batch production scheduling, material planning, and workflow optimization. Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Inventory Management, and Customer Service teams to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery. Monitor work orders, material availability, and production constraints, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks. Optimize scheduling strategies to minimize downtime, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and industry best practices. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to scheduling accuracy, on-time delivery, and resource utilization. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling and production planning. Identify and address potential supply chain risks and escalate critical issues to senior management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records and reports. Strong ability to lead scheduling meetings, present findings, and communicate adjustments to key stakeholders. Skilled at negotiating production priorities between operations, sales, and logistics teams Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. Experience: 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or supply chain coordination within the cosmetic, personal care, or related manufacturing industries. Proficiency in SAP Batch Master ERP is required. Strong background in manufacturing operations, capacity planning, and material requirements planning (MRP). Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Advanced knowledge of SAP Batch Master ERP for production scheduling and material planning. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing environment. High attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and reporting tools. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus. Certification or License: APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification is preferred but not required.
