We are Advancing Medicine for Life through innovation and collaboration in pharmacy practice, education, research, and public service.Position SummaryIn collaboration with the MPS Program Director, the Program Manager serves as the primary owner of the program’s recruitment, admissions, and enrollment strategy and operations, supporting the launch, growth, and long-term sustainability for the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.The Program Manager will independently lead and proactively manage the initial year-round applicant pipeline management, workflows, and onboarding activities across two annual admission cycles, ensuring timely progression of applicants through defined processes and milestones. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the administrative infrastructure and systems to support the MPS Program.Once students are enrolled in the MPS program, the Program Manager manages programmatic processes to support student progression and required experiential components, including independent research projects, internships, career development, and networking. The Program Manager will also provide administrative advising and policy guidance related to registration, progression, and Graduate School requirements.Additionally, the Program Manager also oversees the operational execution of didactic course delivery, manages the scholarship process, develops additional infrastructure to support continued program growth, and analyzes program data and metrics to inform planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement.Minimum Education And Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.Management PreferencesExperience administering and managing complex academic or professional programsDemonstrated experience providing advanced administrative advising and program support to graduate or professional studentsAdvanced capability managing program level recruitment, admissions, and enrollment operationsExperience designing, implementing, and refining administrative systems, workflows, and operational practicesAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and exercising sound judgmentRequired Licenses/CertificationsSpecial Physical/Mental Requirements Campus Security Authority ResponsibilitiesThis position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act.
