Lead Teacher Toddler Room

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to early childhood education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young children. Our preschool provides a nurturing environment that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in children from infancy to preschool age. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, promoting student learning and development, and providing a safe and healthy environment for all students. Duties: - Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans for children from infancy to preschool age. - Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages socialization, exploration, and creativity. - Engage with students through play, stories, songs, and other interactive activities. - Monitor and document student progress and development, including milestones and achievements. - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and playground. - Develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse needs and abilities. - Provide first aid and emergency care as needed. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, behavior, and progress. - Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and any issues that may arise. - Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Experience: - A degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field. - Experience working with children from infancy to preschool age. - Knowledge of early childhood education principles, practices, and curriculum. - Experience with classroom management and organization. - Familiarity with First aid and emergency procedures. - Ability to lift, bend, and move around the classroom and playground as needed. - Experience with babysitting or similar childcare roles. - A commitment to the importance of childhood development and education. - The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. - A positive and patient demeanor. - A passion for teaching and learning.
