We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Apprentice to work alongside our Head of Maintenance. This position is designed to develop the next generation of maintenance leadership through hands-on training in industrial equipment, electrical systems, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventative maintenance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience with Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or Electrical Technology program who wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing.
What You'll Do:
Learn to maintain and troubleshoot industrial mixing, milling, conveying, and support equipment.
Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
Learn to troubleshoot motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Perform equipment repairs safely and efficiently.
Assist with equipment installations and facility improvement projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Work with production personnel to minimize downtime.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability.
Learn and follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
Qualifications
Preferred
Associate degree (or currently completing) in:
Mechatronics Engineering Technology
Industrial Maintenance Technology
Automation Systems Technology
Electrical Technology
Or a related technical program
Knowledge of
AC/DC electrical systems
Motor controls
PLCs (Allen-Bradley experience is a plus)
Hydraulics and pneumatics
Industrial wiring
Mechanical systems and troubleshooting
Basic hand and power tools

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
