Project Manager - CRM Implementation

Position SummaryA Wider Circle seeks an experienced CRM Implementation/Project Manager Consultant to lead the transition from several legacy systems to a modern CRM platform, LiveImpact. This consulting engagement will guide the organization through the planning, data preparation, migration, implementation, and adoption of the new CRM.This role requires a consultant who can combine technical data migration expertise with strong project leadership to ensure a successful CRM implementation across multiple departments.The consultant will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the LiveImpact implementation team to ensure the CRM system enhances operational efficiency, strengthens data integrity, and supports the organization's mission.Legacy Systems Currently In Use IncludeAcuityApricotGalaxy DigitalLittle Green LightOther programmatic databasesThe objective is to have these systems consolidated into LiveImpact. The consultant will be responsible for guiding the project life cycle from discovery and planning through full implementation and adoption.Consulting ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and ImplementationDefine project scope, milestones, deliverables, and implementation timelineDevelop and manage the CRM implementation roadmapCoordinate CRM configuration, deployment, and system rolloutCollaborate with the LiveImpact implementation team and internal project stakeholders.Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment readiness.Support integration with external platforms and API's as needed.Data Migration and Strategy and ExecutionLead development of data migration strategy from legacy systems.Oversee data extraction, mapping, transformation and validation.Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or quality issues.Ensure high-quality data normalization and integrity in the new CRM.Coordinate migration validation with the LiveImpact implementation team.Stakeholder Collaboration and CommunicationServe as the primary liaison between A Wider Circle leadership, internal teams and LiveImpact.Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments and milestone reports.Facilitate stakeholder meetings and cross-functional planning sessions.Support change management and user adoption.CRM Configuration and OptimizationTranslate business requirements into CRM functional configurations.Support system customization and workflow optimization.Establish data governance and security best practices.Ensure CRM structure aligns with programmatic, fundraising and operational needs.Training and DocumentationDevelop user training materials and onboarding guides.Conduct CRM training sessions for internal staff.Document system workflows and operational procedures.SOP DevelopmentThe consultant will develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).CRM data entry standardsData governance policiesReporting and dashboard usageSystem maintenance processesUser access and permissions managementKey DeliverablesCRM Implementation Project PlanData Migration Strategy and Mapping DocumentationClean and validated data migration into LiveImpactConfigure and operational CRM PlatformUser Training Sessions and MaterialsCRM Governance and Data Standards DocumentationStandard Operating Procedures (SOP)Final Implementation Report and RecommendationsPreferred Consultant QualificationsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Information Systems or related fieldPMP - Project Management ProfessionalCertified Scrum Master (CSM)Minimum 5+ years leading CRM implementationsExperience managing data migrations across multiple systemsExperience working with nonprofit CRM platformsExperience with LiveImpact preferredTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of database StructuresData extraction, mapping, transformation and validationCRM architecture and system integrationsData governance best practicesProject ManagementProven experience managing cross-functional technology projectsFamiliarity with project management tools such as:MondayAsanaSmartsheetJiraHow To ApplyQualified consultants should submit:ResumeCover Letter outlining relevant CRM implementation experiencePlease provide a proposed consulting rate, including an approximate daily or monthly rate for services.Note: Final consulting rate will be negotiated based on experience, scope, and project requirements.
