Position Title: Facilities Specialist- Entry LevelLocation: Redstone ArsenalPosition Type: Full-TimeClearance Requirement: Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance Required to StartPosition SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Specialist to support facility operations and maintenance activities at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. This role supports daily operations and maintenance (O&M) functions across secure government facilities and works closely with facility managers, project managers, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure facilities remain operational, compliant, and mission ready.The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend meetings related to the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Program and provide facility status updates to stakeholders with guidance from senior facility operations personnelCoordinate, oversee, and support repair and maintenance activities performed by technicians, vendors, contractors, janitorial staff, and landscaping teamsEnsure maintenance and repair activities comply with established O&M policies and proceduresSubmit, track, and manage facility work orders to ensure timely completion and compliance with established performance metricsUtilize facility integration tools and systems to process service requests and monitor open service ticketsCollect and compile monthly work order metrics and support executive reporting requirementsConduct facility inspections, preventive maintenance quality assurance checks, and document findings or deficienciesReport facility anomalies, operational concerns, or maintenance issues to supervisory personnelSupport project walkthroughs with Project Managers to identify operational impacts, equipment access concerns, and maintenance considerationsMaintain accountability of Real Property records and support annual utility and cost reporting requirementsCoordinate office moves, additions, and space management activities while supporting seating and workspace planning effortsObtain vendor proposals for parts, labor, and service requirements and assist with invoice validation and payment trackingBarcode and inventory new equipment while entering asset information into facility management systems for preventive maintenance trackingProvide input to annual budget planning and operational forecasting activities for assigned facilitiesRequired QualificationsActive Top Secret (TS) Clearance required prior to start dateAssociate degree in a technical, engineering, architectural, or related field preferredMinimum of one (1) year of related facilities, operations, maintenance, or property management experience preferred, or three (3) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degreeStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet/intranet applicationsAbility to effectively interact with customers, vendors, contractors, and government stakeholdersAbility to interpret procedures, policies, and operational requirements with minimal supervisionExperience working with service ticket systems, maintenance tracking systems, or facility integration tools preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or federal government facilitiesFamiliarity with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) programs and preventive maintenance processesKnowledge of facility management systems, work order tracking, and space management processesExperience coordinating vendors, contractors, and facility support servicesUnderstanding of real property accountability and utility management processesCulture Requirements Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self‐organized.
