Axon is looking for a self-motivated Quality Inspector that is hungry to show their talents in the public safety industry.As Axon’s Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection of material following Axon’s inspection plans for raw,in-process and outgoing quality.What You’ll Do Location: Onsite at our PIN Phoenix, AZ LocationReports to: Quality Control SupervisorConduct routine and non routine tests and inspections of raw, in-process and finished good products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performanceRead and interpret technical data and specifications (2D prints/CAD) to conduct meaningful inspections and testsPerform push and pull testing using Mark-10 equipment to qualify parts or gather data for engineeringConduct non destructive and destructive testing on raw, in-process and finished good material to qualify material or aid in root cause investigationsUse a wide range of metrology tools (calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, optical comparator, etc.)Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on product release.Maintain laboratory testing and measurement equipmentMonitor operational procedures in technical environments to ensure conformance to standards.Conduct layered process audits to ensure compliance with Axon 7S standardsMaintain the QC database by logging, transcribing, recording, data in written or electronic form.Analyzing information and evaluating results to recommend the best solution and solve problemsEffectively Join Forces with internal and external stakeholdersStrong ‘Own It’ mentality to work autonomously and manage time effectivelyWhat You BringAssociates Degree or equivalent ExperienceBasic software and computer skillsIPC-A-610 certification (Preferred)Green Belt Certification (Preferred)Experience of ISO standards, inspection standards and quality conceptsProficiency in MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint,Familiarity with Minitab, JMP; other statistical software consideredAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, procedures and standardsExcellent written, oral communication and technical report writing skillsBenefits that Benefit YouCompetitive salary and 401k with employer matchDiscretionary paid time offPaid parental leave for allMedical, Dental, Vision plansFitness ProgramsEmotional & Mental Wellness supportLearning & Development programsAnd yes, we have snacks in our officesBenefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you workDon’t meet every single requirement?
