As our Assistant Childcare Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our childcare center. Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership Excellence: Demonstrate strong leadership skills by collaborating with the Childcare Director to manage daily operations, mentor staff, and create a positive and motivating work environment.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to licensing regulations and quality standards, guaranteeing a safe and secure environment for children and peace of mind for parents.
Community Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, local organizations, and the community at large. Foster a sense of belonging and partnership within the community.
Job Responsibilities for Assistant Childcare Director:
Assist in the overall management and supervision of daily operations in the childcare center.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of childcare staff.
Ensure children enrollment goals are met for the center.
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain a safe and secure environment for children. Foster positive relationships with parents, addressing their concerns and providing regular communication.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to enrollment, attendance, and staff certifications.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Directors Credential a plus.
- Have at 2 years experience working in a leadership role in a child care setting.
- Knowledge of state regulations and licensing requirements for child care centers.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters children's growth and development.
- Experience working with diverse populations of students, including those with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality care for children.
