Who We AreArtmac Soft is a technology consulting and service-oriented IT company that provides innovative technology solutions and services to customers.Job DescriptionJob Title : Technical Project Manager (Data Center)Job Type : W2/C2CExperience : 12+ YearsLocation : San Francisco, California (On-Site)Responsibilities12+ years of experience in project management, infrastructure delivery, data center operations, facilities coordination, construction coordination, cloud delivery, telecommunications, managed services, or enterprise IT.Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or data center projects from planning through operational handoff.Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple internal technical teams, vendors, contractors, customers, and external service providers.Strong project planning, scheduling, dependency management, risk management, and issue-resolution skills.Experience managing vendor commitments, procurement timelines, equipment deliveries, and installation schedules.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.Experience with data center construction, expansion, migration, or modernization projects.Experience supporting AI infrastructure, GPU deployments, high-density compute environments, or large-scale cloud infrastructure.Familiarity with colocation facilities, hyperscale data centers, telecommunications carriers, and managed service providers.Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent platforms.Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.Strong understanding of data center infrastructure concepts including Servers and storage, Network connectivity, Racks and structured cabling, Power and electrical infrastructure, Cooling and environmental systems, Physical and infrastructure security, and Cloud and enterprise IT servicesManage end-to-end data center build-out, expansion, infrastructure deployment, and modernization projects from kickoff through completion and operational handoff.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, dependencies, action logs, decision logs, RAID logs, and risk trackers.Establish project objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and success criteria.Track project progress against milestones and proactively identify schedule, resource, budget, and delivery risks.Manage vendor commitments, deliverables, schedules, dependencies, and escalation points.Track procurement activities, equipment availability, hardware lead times, shipping schedules, delivery dates, installation windows, and outstanding dependencies.Conduct regular vendor and project reviews to ensure commitments remain aligned with project objectives.Coordinate equipment receiving, staging, installation, cabling, connectivity, testing, and commissioning activities.Identify site-level issues, blockers, safety concerns, or schedule risks and coordinate timely resolution.Maintain accurate records of site activities, project decisions, changes, and outstanding punch-list items.Develop and implement repeatable project delivery processes, checklists, templates, and governance standards.Help establish scalable delivery practices as the organization expands its data center, cloud, and AI infrastructure footprint.Identify opportunities to improve project execution, vendor coordination, documentation, and operational readiness.Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure deployment and project management methodologies.QualificationBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
