Description:Position SummaryThe Head Coach (General Manager) is the leader of the fitness product and in-studio experience, responsible for delivering exceptional classes, developing coaching talent, and ensuring operational excellence within the studio.In Bronze and Silver studios, the Head Coach ( General Manager) also serves as a key in-studio operator, owning day-to-day execution of the member experience, coaching performance, and studio readiness, while partnering with Regional leadership on business performance.This role blends coach leadership, operational ownership, and member experience accountability.Responsibilities:Coaching Excellence and Product OwnershipDeliver high-quality, high-energy Orangetheory classes in alignment with brand standardsMaintain personal coaching quota of approximately 15 classes per weekEnsure all coaches meet expectations for programming execution, timing, cueing, safety, and member engagementOwn overall fitness product quality in the studioManage payroll and coach timecardsCoach Leadership, Hiring and DevelopmentSupport recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of coaches in partnership with RFTMLead onboarding, training, and certification readinessDeliver ongoing feedback and performance managementConduct regular coach check-ins and support weekly KPI accountabilityPartner with RFTM on formal evaluations and development plansStudio Operations and Daily ExecutionOwn in-studio operations and readiness, including workout studio maintenance, lobby standards, and overall cleanlinessManage coach schedules in partnership with RFTMEnsure proper class coverage and substitutionsOversee class reconciliation including attendance and late cancelsSubmit and manage facility requests and maintenance coordinationMember Experience and Studio EngagementAct as a visible leader on the floor, building strong member relationshipsSupport member management within the studio portalPartner with the Sales team to improve retention, drive engagement, and support local eventsCreate a welcoming, high-energy, community-driven environmentPerformance and Business SupportSupport key studio metrics including class utilization, member retention, and coaching qualityPartner with RBM and RFTM on class schedule optimization and studio performance initiativesContribute to revenue-driving activities through member engagement and product excellenceAdministrative and Compliance ResponsibilitiesApprove and manage coach payroll and timecardsParticipate in regional calls, fitness workshops, and required trainingsEnsure compliance with all brand and safety standardsQualificationsOrangetheory Fitness Coach certification or ability to obtainNationally accredited fitness certification such as NASM, ACE, or AFAACPR and AED certification1 to 3 or more years of coaching experiencePrior leadership or team development experience preferredKey CompetenciesStrong leadership presence and accountability mindsetHigh energy and ability to motivate large groupsAbility to coach and develop othersOperational ownership and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skillsWhat Success Looks LikeConsistently high-quality classes across all coachesStrong member satisfaction and retentionFully staffed, trained, and accountable coaching teamSmooth daily studio operations with no gaps in executionPositive collaboration with Sales and Regional leadershipRequirements:Compensation details: 55000-63000 Yearly SalaryPI9485d5494b08-26289-40222567
