Locum Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine in Richmond, VA Join a dedicated team at a well-respected medical facility in Richmond, Virginia, as a Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician. This position offers opportunities for both office and inpatient coverage, providing critical support during a recruitment period. The clinic operates with a focus on high-risk pregnancies, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care from experienced professionals. Job Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for patients with high-risk pregnancies. Perform required procedures including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage. Utilize onsite ultrasound and advanced medical equipment for accurate diagnostics. Collaborate with a supportive team of RN clinic educators, sonographers, and genetic counselors. Maintain thorough documentation using the EPIC EMR system. Participate in on-call duties during weekdays and weekends as scheduled. Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Completion of a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Possess a valid Virginia medical license. Current BLS certification. AIUM certification is preferred. Submission of a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is required. License and Certification Requirements: Virginia medical license - required. BLS certification - required. Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine - required. Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine - required.
