Client Partner
Vention is a global engineering partner to tech leaders and fast-growing startups, combining 20+ years of product development expertise with an AI-first approach and a reputation for reliable delivery.As we scale toward $250M+ in annual revenue, we’re hiring a Client Partner to lead and expand key client relationships across the East Coast. You’ll own a portfolio of high-growth accounts, drive strategic expansion, and partner closely with founders and CTOs to turn ambition into execution.What you'll doManage a $10M portfolio of high-growth accounts across 10–15 partnersDeepen client relationships through consistent, strategic engagementBuild and execute tailored account plans that drive expansion and client outcomesIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned to each client’s product roadmapCollaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Marketing to align services with client goalsMonitor account performance, satisfaction, and risk – and act earlyDeliver structured reviews (QBRs, strategic syncs) and executive reportingBe a trusted advisor to clients on scaling product teams and delivery modelsLeverage internal tools and AI insights to prioritize and automate effectivelyWhat you bring3–5 years in account or delivery management within software/IT, ideally in IT consulting or technical recruitmentProven experience managing $5M - $10M portfolios and 8-15+ concurrent client relationshipsExpertise in building and growing client relationships — navigating complex stakeholders, driving retention, and expanding portfolios via upsell and cross-sellAccountability for key client metrics (NRR, contribution margin) with strong risk management and outcome-based planning skillsDeep technical understanding of the full SDLC, delivery processes, and engineering team modelsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentWhat you'll getWork mode – hybrid 2 days onsite in New York office100% employer-covered medical insurance (including dependents).
