Strong organizational and planning skills. Read interpret schedules/tickets, use tape measure to 1/16"Constantly getting on/off lift truck to manually lift/slide/flip materials or doors (max. 50 lbs.), bending, lifting, twisting - Picking up materials and disposing as necessary.Shuttle loads between plant and offsite warehouse. Gathers finished goods from offsite warehouse to transport to the plant. Communicates inventory replenishment needs at offsite warehouse, conducts cycle counts as requested, confirms material outages communicated by plant. Maintain equipment checklists and ensure equipment is maintained properly. Communicate equipment damage immediately. Liason between offsite warehouse leasing company and purchasing manager.Physical Requirements:Climbing into and out of truck multiple times per day, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing and pulling up to 100 lbs on crank, lift up to 50 lbs otherwise. Constant entering/exiting trucks.Must be CDL Certified and Licensed, knowledge of trucks and trailers and how they operate, safety procedures on spotting trailers including wheel chocks and tandem pin, DOT Standards and mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.
