Slitter Operator

Required SkillsMust be at least 18 years of age and able to pass our reading and ruler testing2+ yrs doing any complex mechanical work such as production machine changeovers, set-ups, troubleshooting; replacing car engines or transmissions, or other more complex car mechanical work is required.1+ yrs of machine operator experience a PLUS but not requiredAbility to be on your feet and stand/walk for entire shift.Make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch (must pass a pre-employment ruler test)Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis. Must be able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel. Must be able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors. Previous ISO experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment preferredPrevious lamination, packaging or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but NOT required, WE WILL TRAIN.Shifts Available2nd Shift (Cary Location) 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, M-FThe Slitter Machine Operator slits material to support press, lamination, and pouch departments, and Customer roll stock business.Technipaq is family owned and operated serving the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging industry since 1984.
