Senior Procurement Project Engineer

About the role
As The Senior Procurement Project Manager, I will oversee all procurement activities for AP1000 Projects. These activities include pre-PO and post-PO tasks, with a focus on ensuring the delivery of components, on budget, and meeting all applicable quality requirements. You will be a contributor responsible for large-scale Procurement Projects, working with teams and standard build, and report project implementation plans. Lead all procurement activities in assigned programs to assure readiness for pre-PO and post PO to ensure predictive delivery during execution.
You will report to the Director, APX Supply Chain North America Projects and be located in our Cranberry, PA facility on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities
You will improve Supplier Identification and down selection.
Guide completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations.
Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations.
Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation (i.e., draft SAP requisition for RFQ including all technical and quality requirements).
Creating the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.
Complete Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.
Support the project management team to work with Supplier Quality support organizations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.
We prefer experience in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries. However, it could also be in any of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain.
US Citizen. You must meet the criteria for access to our partners' and clients' technologies and meet import/export controls laws and regulations.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
