Branch Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Guide and manage branch office in providing quality service to new and existing members in account transactions, loan applications, and new accounts. Solve problems within established policies and guidelines. Lead staff by exemplifying core values and promote the growth of the Credit Union. Direct the overall operations of the branch including but not limited to: general maintenance and security of branch, currency shipments, branch balancing, employee relations, and monthly reports. Maintain a highly motivated and well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations. Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch. Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies. Be the Credit Union Representative. Participate in branch networking opportunities. Create and maintain a cross-selling environment within the branch. Conduct loan interviews; process, approve and close loans. Achieve quarterly loan goals; Attain monthly branch goals in new SEGs, members and new accounts. Maintain knowledge of the Credit Union’s products and services in order to efficiently train and motivate staff to cross-sell. Requirements: Excellent communication, sales, organizational and interpersonal skills Problem Solving skills Microsoft Office proficient; includes word and excel Ability to write reports and procedure manuals Maintain and update procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, members and the general public Dependability Dynamic, outgoing personality Qualifications: Two to three years of similar or related experience or a two year college degree in business preferred.
