The Sr. Manager of Corporate Strategy will play a critical role formulating strategy, evaluating and analyzing business opportunities, and coordinating efforts across the entire company. This individual will work closely with a small, high-impact team driving multiple high priority business projects. These projects span strategic growth initiatives to operational excellence programs. The role requires close interaction with senior executives throughout the company. This person will therefore have a significant opportunity to impact the growth, direction and future of F5.PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Experience identifying, evaluating and analyzing critical strategic questions and business situationsPrior experience of 3-5 years in management consulting or corporate strategy required, 5 to 8 years of total professional experienceRecord of sound business judgment across a range of business models and strategiesThinks creatively about problem solving and comfortable with financial analysisHighly focused on execution and delivering high-quality, synthesized analysisExperience coordinating virtual teams to solve business problemsExperience working across multiple business units or functions to drive consensusMBA, or demonstrated equivalent; engineering degree a plusPERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem solvingExceptional written and oral communication skillsHigh energy, positive attitude, self-starter and motivatedHighly organized and detail-orientedStrong personal presence, comfortable interacting with senior business leadersTeam player able to effortlessly lead virtual teamsAdaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
