Sample Prep Associate

Job SummaryThe Sample Prep Associate is responsible for preparing samples for individual testing and maintaining machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesProperly dries wet samples, stamps/cuts each sample to specifications. Correctly weighs each sample and determines if it can be analyzed. Catalogues all test samples. Works efficiently and effectively to ensure all samples are prepped for analysis. Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment as needed. Works with Team Lead to ensure optimum workflow. Assists and supports other departments areas as needed. Maintains a safe and orderly work environmentRole QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCERequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent At least two (2) years of related job experienceAbility to effectively balance multiple tasksEffective problem solving Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwarePreferredMechanical vocational training or equivalent military training.
