DescriptionSUMMARYUnder general supervision, performs various staff support duties within the Sheriff's Office.Example of DutiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Essential functions are the fundamental and primary duties of a classified position that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, in order to fulfill the purpose of the position.Carry out the Sheriff's Mission and Vision and adhere to the Office's Core Values; Trust, Service, Community;Cultivates high morale and a Team culture within the Sheriff's Office;Prepare, process, or reissue a variety or legal documents, including warrants, subpoenas, protective orders, and temporary restraining orders;Schedule and coordinate in-state and our-of-state travel for deputies involved in extradition or inmate transfer;Prepare reports on dockets, warrant dispositions, and fine collections; generate billing for the State Attorney General's Office for service of state documents; maintain and update TCIC/NCIC database entries;Perform receptionist duties, including answering public inquiries, providing information within scope, and directing calls to appropriate personnel;Log and submit bond payments to bookkeepers; coordinate with bond companies and courts to verify violator incarceration;Perform general office duties, including filing, copying, and data entry;Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsEDUCATION, REQUIREMENTS, AND TRAINING: --the preferred way to obtain the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position are listed below.
