Aircraft Mechanic UH-60 / H-60 PlatformsThis role focuses on performing PMI 1 and PMI 2 phase maintenance on UH-60 and related H-60 series aircraft in a hangar/MRO environment. You will remove and replace major components such as main and tail rotors, hydraulics, and airframe parts including flight controls, and support selected aircraft upgrades and modifications. The position offers the opportunity to work on advanced helicopter platforms while developing and refining your maintenance expertise.ResponsibilitiesPerform PMI 1 and PMI 2 phase maintenance on UH-60 and other H-60 series aircraft in accordance with maintenance manuals and established procedures.Remove, inspect, repair, and replace main rotor systems, tail rotor assemblies, and associated components.Remove, repair, and reinstall hydraulic system components, including lines, pumps, actuators, and related hardware.Remove, repair, and replace airframe components, including flight controls and structural parts, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.Conduct line maintenance and heavy maintenance tasks on UH-60 or comparable Sikorsky platforms as required.Support and perform aircraft upgrades and modifications in line with engineering instructions and technical data.Use appropriate tools, equipment, and test devices to troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct mechanical issues on assigned aircraft.Follow all safety procedures, maintenance documentation requirements, and quality standards throughout each maintenance task.Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.Collaborate with other technicians and teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of aircraft work scopes.Care for and properly maintain personal tools and any company-provided equipment used in the performance of duties.Essential SkillsMinimum of 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience.Hands-on experience working on UH-60 or SH-60 or MH-60 or HH-60 aircraft, or other Sikorsky platforms such as CH-53, S-61, S-70, or S-76.Proven experience performing phase maintenance, including PMI tasks, on rotary-wing aircraft.Experience in line maintenance and/or heavy maintenance on helicopters.Ability to perform removal and replacement of main rotors, tail rotors, hydraulics, and airframe components including flight controls.Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical manuals, maintenance instructions, and engineering documentation.Experience consistent with a 15T MOS in the U.S. Army performing phase/PMI maintenance (or equivalent experience).Possession of a complete set of personal tools suitable for aircraft maintenance, or willingness to obtain them.Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.Ability to work full shifts on a four 10-hour day schedule.Additional Skills & QualificationsAirframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is preferred but not required.Prior experience as a UH-60 Helicopter Repairer or similar H-60 series mechanic role.Experience with PMI, phase maintenance, and H-60 series platforms such as UH-60, SH-60, MH-60, HH-60, and related Sikorsky models.Military helicopter maintenance experience, particularly 15T MOS, is highly valued.Ability to adapt to both line maintenance and heavy maintenance environments.Strong teamwork and communication skills in a hangar/MRO setting.Why Work Here?Enjoy a long-term opportunity with a stable maintenance operation that offers three-day weekends through a four 10-hour day schedule.
