Pool Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining, cleaning, construction, and repairing residential and commercial swimming pools to ensure they are safe, functional, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with pool maintenance, and proficiency with various tools. Duties Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces Test and adjust water chemistry to maintain proper pH and chemical levels Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators Repair or replace faulty equipment using hand tools and power tools Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of pool systems Identify potential issues early and recommend necessary repairs or replacements Maintain detailed service records for each pool serviced Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe following company standards Qualifications Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and reporting issues Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites Ability to work independently with minimal supervision This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have a passion for maintaining aquatic environments, and are committed to providing excellent service.
